There have been several customers who have identified issues with the Contact Agent feature on some servers. After many hours of research we discovered that some servers will simply not allow email to go out using the servers default email or the sender of "Nobody". If the server you are on has PHPSuexec or Suexec, php and cgi scripts will not be able to send out with NOBODY unless you change various parameters.
In cPanel or Plesk it is possible to modify the setting without having to modify the php.ini settings.
Until we have more documentation, search for solutions to the issue with your hosting service. Simply cut and paste the following sentence when you submit to your host.
Prevent the user "nobody" from sending out mail to remote addresses (PHP and CGI scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using PHPSuexec and Suexec respectively.)
