Does your plugin works with Canadian IDX?

Canadian Real estate agent asked me to help setup WP website where she wants to link local MLS listing to her website. I have contacted the local board and they allow MLS to be link to the agent site.

Does your plugins works with Canadian IDX?
If it is, does it require programming or just simple configuring of your tools with agents ids, license etc?

I noticed on your website where you said your plugin doesn't work with certain hosting co like Godaddy. I use Hostgator to host my clients sites. Do you know if your product install okay with Hostgator?

We also use some Host-gator servers and as long as it is a dedicated server and not a reseller account it will work. As far as the IDX feed you will need to have the board of Realtors setup a rets data feed and then you can use the free viele RETS program which will import the listing directly into our plugin.

Thank you for your reply. Currently I use reseller account. I am a bit disappointed by not being able to use the plugin with my account.

I looked at dedicated server plan and I must say it is a bit more than what I can afford now.

Can you please elaborate more which requirement may cause reseller account or share server not to support IDX feed so that I can check with my hosing company? Thanks.

You just need a server that is powerful enough and one that has the minimum requirements - typically a 5 dollar hosting account is not going to be one that you will want to be on unless its someone like hostgator.com.

We currently offer reseller hosting for 20 per month and that would get you a reseller account so that you can put unlimited domains on it but it does come with a maximum 50 gigs of space for that price.
