Hello I just got your WPRealty and I wanted to say very damn nice. I am having trouble migrating away from Open Realty and I notice that when I try to do a database import WPRealty stops working.
I take my Open Realty database and try to import it into WPRealty and everything stops working. What am I doing wrong? I have 115 listings for our commercial properties and I really don't want to add all the classes, fields, images and listings all over again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Mike, here is why you are experiencing this as an issue.
When we built WPRealty, we took the core version of OpenRealty and removed lots of code we did not need and then added features we knew we would need. In order to do this we had to add fields to the listings table and the main configuration table.
We then added extra folders for listing_photos/ taking the feature from our WPRealty 3.0 and are in the process of changing the listing images table as well.
Because of this, the tables between OpenRealty and WPRealty do not match.
This however isn't an issue. Although we do not have all the scripts published yet (we have been slammed with updates and new features) we do have a migration tool that will help with the import of listings from OpenRealty into WPRealty.
The main thing to remember is to export your OpenRealty database as an SQL file and save it before you make any modifications or attempts to import.
Also since the configuration settings between WPRealty and OpenRealty differ in several areas it would be wise to NOT attempt to import those settings. You technically only need 5 tables moved from OpenRealty into WPRealty in order for this to work.
It would also be wise to use your cpanel (if available) to zip the image folder up for backup. You could also go into cpanel and "move" the folder with the file manager into the /wp-content/plugins/wp-realty/images/ folder. Be sure to add the sub folders 1 through 9 again because those will play a roll in the next release.

Thanks Jared, I do see that the tables are not the same. What do I need to do? Can I just send you details to my DB?
