Hi Chad,

What is the difference between a USER and a MEMBER in wp-realty?

Also,

Is the forum what you refer to as PRIORITY CLIENT SUPPORT?

There seem to be some pages that are not setup yet and its a bit confusing.

thanks much.

Mary

this website is being completely redone this month so there isn't any point in fixing this sites minor issues since were are already doing the new one that will be finished soon.

"users" are the people that buy a 30-license with no support or options to access anything other than the basic forums.

"members" like the VIP members - are able to access all of the commercial add-ons, plugins and templates etc. And they also can have us set up their install of the plugin for them etc for free.

All Support related to the plugin and your technical and personal questions should go through the support tickets in your client area.

The forums are just a place for you to ask for information that hopefully someone will be able to respond to ....and hopefully everyone else can also benefit from the Q&A.

As to the google chrome issue - hopefully the site site will fix that but really anybody doing much web work is usually using FF because of all the great plugins for seo and my favorite is firebug.

Hi Chad - so sorry I was not more specific about my question. I was not referring to your internal use of these roles for your plugin site or client support area - but rather, the definition of users, members and agents as it relates to a REAL ESTATE WEBSITE such as the one I am setting up for a client - and hope to be able to use wprealty as effectively as possible on behalf of that client.

So if you wouldn't mind addressing that inquiry once more, I'd appreciate it.

In the WPRealty Plugin, the menu includes references to Users, Members and Agents.

Agents would be obvious. THese are agents that may belong to the brokerage for whom the site represents.

Members might be people who visit the real estate website and sign up as members to "receive updates and listings???"

Users - not sure about the users.

You said: ""users" are the people that buy a 30-license with no support or options to access anything other than the basic forums.

"members" like the VIP members - are able to access all of the commercial add-ons, plugins and templates etc. And they also can have us set up their install of the plugin for them etc for free."

So - hopefully you'll be willing to take another stab at my question - modifying your answer as it relates to one of your web design gurus who buy your plugin and are trying to wade through the spotty docs and support mechanisms to get the show on the road (ie...website launched and polished up to operate with the whiz bang wprealty plugin.)

Thanks much.

mary

PS: I use all the browsers as I cross check websites for each. I love firefox and have it installed on my second computer but really only use it when I'm trying to figure out a css challenge. I'll check it out a bit more extensively in 2010. Whats your favorite FF plugin?

The agents, users, members in there are all based on the old Open-Realty structure and we are currently in the process of migrating that part into the wordpress structure so that the website owners can take advantage of other free plugins like newsletter plugins and drip mail etc.

So when "john doe" registers to save his favorite listing or search then he will actually be registering into wordpress as a "user" that can then be tapped by other free wordpress plugins....eventually we will be tying in the sugar CRM to work with our solution as well so that should make it a one stop CRM solution.

Cool, thanks for the answer. That its a left over from Open Realty makes sense and I'll look forward to the new stuff that funnels through. :)

Chad,

Does sugarcrm or even tiger crm work with wprealty or wordpress already to be able to use that?
