My photos are showing as broken images on the "live side" but when I go in to edit all listings in wprealty and I click on the "images link" - the photos show up fine as thumbnails there.

Check jareds notices on Thesis Theme. This was causing my photo problem due to a conflict in the java. As soon as I removed the Thesis Theme and used a different theme, the problem was solved
